Is It Verity? Verity Tier Lists
Community rankings for pattern feedback value, rarity pressure, and match win contribution.
How this tier list works
Is It Verity? is a 1v1 race to crack a hidden pattern. You place Veritys, read the result feedback, and lock the full sequence before your opponent does. Your equipped loadout of up to six Veritys is the toolkit you bring into that race.
This hub explains the ranking lens we use across the wiki. Detailed placements live on:
- Verity Tiers — S / A / B / C style guidance by pattern-duel usefulness
- Best Loadouts — how to pick and refresh your best six
Official rarity labels and pack tables evolve with [UPD] patches from Prince Creations. Treat every list here as community guidance, not a datamined absolute.
Ranking criteria
We weigh four practical factors when comparing Veritys for competitive matches:
1. Pattern feedback value
Some Veritys make the board easier to read because their placement outcomes carve the possibility space faster. High-feedback pieces climb tiers even if they are not the flashiest collectible.
2. Order flexibility
Matches ask you to find the right Veritys in the right order. Units that remain useful across multiple guess slots beat narrow one-slot specialists for most players.
3. Rarity and acquisition cost
A strong but extremely rare Verity can be S-tier in a vacuum and still be a poor early target if you cannot equip it yet. Pack priority and loadout advice account for that gap—see the Packs Guide.
4. Match win-rate contribution
We care about results in real 1v1 queues and Vs Bot practice, not index completion alone. A Verity that shortens average solve time or reduces misclick losses outranks a vanity pull you never equip.
How to use the subpages
- Skim Verity Tiers to learn which roles belong in S and A bands right now.
- Open Best Loadouts and rebuild your six around coverage, not duplicate low-info pieces.
- Cross-check your collection on the Players Hub so you know what you own versus what you still need from packs.
- After an update, re-test in Vs Bot before you spend currency chasing a nerfed favorite.
Early-game versus late-game thinking
Early: Equip whatever reliable Veritys you have, learn feedback language, and stop swapping every match. Consistency beats chasing every new pack teaser. Follow Getting Started and Controls.
Mid: Replace redundant low-feedback pieces. Aim for a six that covers common pattern shapes without overlapping the same information twice.
Late: Optimize for speed. The best loadouts shave seconds off each placement cycle and reduce “almost solved” losses when the opponent finishes first. Strategy detail lives in How to Win.
What this tier list is not
- Not an official Prince Creations balance sheet
- Not a promise that rarity equals strength
- Not a reason to ignore practice—loadout quality cannot fix slow reading
- Not interchangeable with horror-game “Verity” character rankings from unrelated experiences
Is It Verity? borrows the yellow smiley Verity aesthetic, but the gameplay is a pattern duel, not a story horror route.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
How is the Is It Verity? tier list ranked?
By pattern feedback value, order flexibility, acquisition reality, and contribution to 1v1 win rate—not by looks alone.
Is this an official ranking from Prince Creations?
No. It is community guidance that will change as updates reshape packs and match rules.
Should I only equip S-tier Veritys?
Equip the best six you actually own. A complete, practiced mid-tier loadout beats an empty dream team.
Where do I see detailed S/A/B/C placements?
Open the Verity Tiers page, then use Best Loadouts to turn rankings into a practical six-slot plan.
Do updates change the tier list?
Yes. After major [UPD] patches, re-check Verity Tiers and re-test your loadout in Vs Bot before spending packs.
